MTV had nine fans from around the world unveil the 10 regional nominees who will go head to head in its Worldwide Act category at the European Music Awards held in Amsterdam on Nov. 10.
Justin Bieber made the final cut as North America’s nominee, while One Direction will represent all of Northern Europe.

This year 186 global music acts battled it out during six weeks of first-round voting by fans. The contenders were narrowed down to 37 on Oct. 25, before being further culled earlier today. Fans have until Nov. 8 to vote for their favorite global act among the final 10 nominees.
This year’s MTV EMAs are hosted by Redfoo and will feature live performances by Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Afrojack, Imagine Dragons, Icona Pop, The Killers and Katy Perry. Will Ferrell will be in attendance as Anchorman 2 character Ron Burgundy.
