Jason Sudeikis has said farewell to Saturday Night Live, but he isn’t done being funny on NBC‘s airwaves.
In a new web video, the actor plays an American football coach who moves to England to try his hand at British football. Coach Ted Lasso takes over as the head of the Tottenham Hotspur, despite having basically no knowledge of soccer or British culture.

Two thirty-second ads were also created to promote NBC Sports Group’s broadcasting of 380 Premier League games this season. They will run Sunday on NBC during the NFL Hall of Fame game telecast (starting at 8 p.m.), an NBC rep tells The Hollywood Reporter.
NBC inked a three-year deal with England’s Premier League in October 2012, allowing the network to broadcast up to 380 games a season on NBC, NBC Sports Network, Telemundo and mun2, along with NBCSports.com.
