While millions of Breaking Bad fans are anxiously awaiting the series finale of the Emmy-winning drama, Miley Cyrus is not one of them.
The controversial singer-actress recently told Rolling Stone that she’s in the middle of watching the first season of the AMC series, which ends its five-season run Sunday night.

“Breaking Bad I just got into, but I haven’t been able to keep up with it as much,” she said, as picked up by Rolling Stone sister publication Us Weekly. “There’s just a lot of him coughing. I’m in the first season, and the coughing is driving me crazy.”
The show centers on Walter White (Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who turns to cooking and selling crystal meth to provide for his family after he learns that he has lung cancer.
“Like, we get it — you’re dying,” Cyrus said. “Do you really need a whole two-minute scene of another cough attack? It’s too much. In every bad situation, how does he get out? He just starts coughing.”
Breaking Bad won its first Emmy for best drama series at last week’s Primetime Emmy Awards. Co-star Anna Gunn also nabbed a best supporting actress statuette.

Cyrus is in the midst of a promotional tour for her new album, Bangerz. Last month, she drew headlines — and a slew of FCC complaints from viewers — over her racy performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Cyrus has continued to court controversy by slapping the rear end of a twerking little person on German TV and appearing naked in her “Wrecking Ball” video, which recently broke the record for most views on Vevo in a 24-hour period.
