Grant of the Week: Jacob K. Javits Fellowships for Graduate Students in the Humanities

The Jacob K. Javits Fellowship Program provides fellowships to students to undertake study at the doctoral and master of fine arts level in selected fields of arts, humanities, and social sciences. Students must demonstrate superior ability and achievement, exceptional promise, and financial need. In fiscal year 2009, the institutional payment was $13,552 and the maximum stipend was $30,000. For fiscal year 2010, the maximum stipend will be $30,000, and the institutional payment is estimated to be $13,755. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2010. Visit the Jacob K.
