Jacqueline Saturn, a 20-year veteran of Epic Records who left the company in late July, is headed to Capitol Music Group’s Harvest Records label, the Hollywood Reporter has learned.
There, the former senior vice president of promotion will see her title upped to co-general manager alongside Piero Giramonti, whose hiring was announced in February. Giramonti arrived from indie label Dangerbird, where he was president. The two will share duties in what was a mutually endorsed arrangement.

Harvest, which was founded in 1969, has a long history as a progressive label. Among the albums bearing its logo are Pink Floyd‘s Dark Side of the Moon, Electric Light Orchestra’s eponymous debut and English punk band Wire’s highly regarded Pink Flag.
Today, the label, which touts “a select roster of original, cutting-edge artists,” is home to buzz acts The Olms, featuring singer-songwriter Pete Yorn, controversial group Death Grips (who were dropped by Epic in November 2012) and White Lies, and can run their releases through the Caroline distribution system.

At Epic, Saturn had held the positions of vice president of alternative radio promotion, svp of rock and alternative promotion and was named svp of promotion in 2007. During that time, she also worked under Steve Barnett, current chairman of Capitol Music Group, for nine years.
Toasting her exit from the Sony label — and impending move to Hollywood, where she’ll be based — at a July 24 party were Epic Records chairman L.A. Reid, Republic Records executive vice president Charlie Walk, Clear Channel head of national programming Tom Poleman and Columbia’s Joel Klaiman, among others.
An announcement is expected in the coming days.
