A sixth person has died as a result of a five-car crash Tuesday evening in Lodi, police said.
The vehicles collided near Ham Lane and Vine Street shortly before 5:30 p.m. Five people were declared dead that evening, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child.
Twelve people are in the hospital, though the severity of their injuries is not immediately known.
Police are investigating what exactly was behind the horrific crash.
