NBC edged out CBS for a demo win on Tuesday night, driven by a steady Voice. The Biggest Loser kicked off the block down three-tenths of a point from last week’s premiere for a 2.0 rating with adults 18-49. The Voice held its 4.0 adults rating, while Chicago Fire (2.1 adults) moved down two-tenths. The network pulled a 2.7 adults rating and 9 million viewers for the night.

NCIS (3.0 adults) came within a tenth of a point of last week’s showing, while both NCIS: LA (2.6 adults) and Person of Interest (2.2 adults) held steady — the latter winning the 10 p.m. hour for the first time this season. CBS averaged a 2.6 rating with adults 18-49 and a dominant 15.5 million viewers.
Agents of SHIELD (2.6 adults) took another dip on ABC, down two-tenths of a point from last week. The Goldbergs (1.7 adults) inched up a tenth at 8 p.m., while Trophy Wife (1.2 adults) dropped by the same measure to a new low. ABC pulled a 1.7 adults rating and 5.1 million viewers for the night.
Dads (1.4 adults) dropped a tenth on Fox. Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.6 adults) gave the net some growth at 8:30 p.m., up by a tenth of a point. New Girl (1.8 adults) and The Mindy Project (1.4 adults) both held even, giving Fox a nightly average of a 1.5 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers.
The Originals (0.9 adults) dropped two-tenths of a point from last week, and Supernatural (1.0 adults) held steady. The CW pulled a 1.0 adults and 2.2 adults.
