TORONTO – Pro wrestler Chris Jericho is toplining a Canadian scripted web comedy, But I’m Chris Jericho.
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant co-wrote and stars in the 10-parter for butimchrisjericho.com and the Action network’s YouTube Channel, run by Canadian broadcaster Shaw Media.

Jericho, a veteran of the TV wresting ring who grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, won the WWE World Championship six times.
The web series sees Jericho playing a former wrestler struggling to make it as an actor, with the web series from Insight Productions co-starring Andy Kindler as Jericho’s bumbling agent, Phil Blank and Scott Thompson as a camp acting teacher.
Jericho’s other recent film and TV credits include hosting Syfy’s Robot Combat League, MacGruber and Albino Farm.

He also appeared in another web series, Jon Davis Gets a Sex Robot.
The Canadian web series has financing from Shaw Media, the OMDC and the Independent Production Fund.
John Brunton and Barbara Bowlby are executive producing.
