SACRAMENTO—

A north Natomas neighborhood was the scene of a standoff between police and a wanted suspect.

According to Sacramento Police, officers set up shop near Raymar Court and New Hampshire Way, off of Natomas Boulevard, just after 5:30 p.m. to stake out a possible out-of-state homicide suspect.

The suspected is wanted out of New York, police say. He was hunkered down in an unspecified home. There were no hostages in the incident.

By 10:40 p.m., the suspect surrendered to authorities without incident.
