Beaubaire was an exec at DreamWorks but since 2008 has been at Paramount, holding the position of executive vp production. He shepherded movies such as Flight and the upcoming Michael Bay–produced found footage movie, Almanac. He also was the studio’s point man with Jason Reitman, overseeing the filmmaker’s Up in the Air and Labor Day, as well as his latest project, Men Women & Children.
Beaubaire also has D.C. connections, as he served as special assistant for cabinet affairs for President Bill Clinton.
Sloane comes to TriStar from Hypnotic, the production company run by David Bartis and Doug Liman, where she developed and sold several projects. She was a co-executive producer on Covert Affairs. She was also a vp at USA Network, working on Psych, The Dead Zone and The 4400.
Brown was responsible for the development of Mandate’s slate and is known for collaborating with nurturing voices, having worked with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Drew Barrymore, Lorene Scafaria and Diablo Cody on their directorial debuts.
She joined Mandate in 2006 and oversaw such movies as the Harold and Kumar franchise, 50/50, Whip It! and The Possession. Brown has also earned exec producer credits on Rogen’s and Goldberg’s This Is the End and Last Vegas.
