AOL and BermanBraun want to bring Moviefone to your phone.
The AOL film listings and entertainment site will get a mobile-first redesign set for early 2014 courtesy of a partnership with BermanBraun, the companies announced Thursday.
The production house, founded by Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun, will oversee the relaunch of the brand. “We look forward to the opportunity to reimagine Moviefone as a vital and essential entertainment brand for the mobile generation,” Berman and Braun said in a joint statement.

BermanBraun-developed digital entertainment properties include celebrity site Wonderwall, launched with MSN. The production company has previously partnered with AOL for weather site Skye, lifestyle site Mandatory and the relaunch of pet-focused site PawNation.
AOL acquired Moviefone in 1999. The site celebrated its 20th anniversary with a redesign in 2010 focused on adding social media features.
After its acquisition of The Huffington Post in 2011, AOL has shuttered some of its standalone music and television properties as part of restructuring.
