Dylan Baker and Brian Cox will join Michael Dougherty for the special Trick ‘r Treat screening at Beyond Fest, the left-of-center horror film festival currently scaring up Hollywood in its inaugural year.
Also coming to the screening and the Q&A panel are Quinn Lord, who played the diminutive killer Sam in the movie, along with Jean-Luc Bilodeau. Seth Green is moderating the event, which will be held Oct. 28 at the Egyptian Theatre and close out Beyond Fest.
Dougherty, one of the writers of X-Men 2 and Superman Returns, wrote and directed the horror anthology, which was never released in theaters, but has gained quite a nice following since being made in 2007.
Anna Paquin and Leslie Bibb were among those who also appeared in the movie, and it’s unclear at this time if they will be present for the event.

Legendary, the company behind the movie, is teasing that more announcements will be coming. The company is also live-streaming the evening, both the movie and the panel, on its Facebook page.
Beyond Fest began last week with a screening of Assault on Precinct 13 accompanied by a live performance by composer Alan Howarth. Last night saw the third of a trio of sold-out performance by The Goblins, the Italian prog-rock band who worked on classic Dario Argento horror movies.
Among other upcoming highlights are:
– Friday’s screening of Almost Human, which is coming off a premiere at Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness and a subsequent Fantastic Fest showing. (Director Joe Begos and the cast will be there.)
– Saturday’s screening of Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut, which will have Clive Barker in person talking about restoring and putting back 45 minutes into his horror movie.
