TORONTO – The Big Chill is setting in at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.
Toronto programmers on Friday said the cast and crew from the hit movie will reunited in September for a screening at the Princess of Wales Theatre on Sept. 5.
The screening of The Big Chill comes 30 years after the world premiere of director Lawrence Kasdan‘s drama at Toronto in 1983, and will see Glenn Close, Tom Berenger, Meg Tilly, Mary Kay Place and JoBeth Williams attend.

Kasdan also will be on hand in Toronto, along with screenwriter Barbara Benedek, executive producer Marcia Nasatir, and producers Meg Kasdan and Michael Shamberg.
Toronto will screen a newly restored 4K version of the film, to be followed by a Q&A with the cast and crew.
The original Toronto screening of The Big Chill in 1983 earned the top audience award at the festival that year and went on to receive Academy Award nominations for best film, screenplay and supporting actress.
The 38th Toronto International Film Festival is set to run from Sept. 5 to 15.
