Diners — and staff — at New York’s Katz’s Delicatessen were treated to more than just a hot meal there recently.
The New York-based “prank collective” Improv Everywhere enlisted a group of 20 women to re-create the infamous fake-orgasm scene from 1989’s When Harry Met Sally that was shot at the restaurant.

Two actors were dressed as Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan), while 20 other couples were seated around them in the deli. When Sally’s fake orgasm began, 20 other women (all of whom were on dates) joined in. And yes, at the end, there is even one woman there to quip: “I’ll have what they’re having.”
According to the collective, the restaurant staff had no knowledge this was going to happen.
“Thankfully, they all seemed to love it,” creator-director Charlie Todd wrote on the group’s website. (Their reactions can be seen in the video below.)
The project was part of Improv Everywhere’s new Movies in Real Life series, through which a new video is released every week that brings to life an iconic movie moment. Previous installments have focused on Rocky, The Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones.
