CBS is adding to its comedy coffers.
The network has made a put pilot commitment for an untitled half-hour centered on three moms living in a Brooklyn high-rise who help each other stay sane (or try to) as they juggle their friendships, marriages and kids.

The project is based on the original series Little Mom, which is produced by Yoav Gross Productions for Israel’s Channel 10. The sitcom is distributed globally by Dori Media (Lalola, Date Blind), which is currently peddling it at Mipcom as part of a diverse slate of programming.
The single-camera entry is being produced stateside at Greg Berlanti‘s Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros., where he has an overall deal. It will be written and executive produced by Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky (Sex and the City, Smash), with Berlanti and his TV exec Melissa Kellner Berman on board as an executive producer and a co-exec producer, respectively.

The news comes as Berlanti continues to bulk up his development slate, having sold hourlong projects to networks from The CW (Flash) to NBC (The Mysteries of Laura, Paradise). The prolific producer also is behind both of The CW’s current Wednesday night offerings, Arrow and The Tomorrow People.
Zuritsky, Rottenberg and Berlanti are all repped by WME and Felker Toczek. Dori Media is also repped by WME.
