It’s not right, but it’s karaoke.
An American Airlines flight from Los Angeles International Airport to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport was forced to make an emergency landing in Kansas City on Friday when a female passenger refused to stop singing Whitney Houston songs.
Despite instruction not to record the event, one passenger shot video of federal air marshals escorting the woman, hands cuffed behind her back, being led off the aircraft as she belts an ear-piercing rendition of “I Will Always Love You.”
Airport spokesperson Joe McBride told KCTV 5 that the woman blamed the impromptu performance on her diabetes. She was interviewed and released without charges.
American refused to fly the woman to her destination, so she was forced to buy a ticket to New York on a different airline.
