Meanwhile, The Washington Post reports that Witherspoon also has canceled a scheduled appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America. She had planned to tape a segment Monday that would have aired on Wednesday’s edition of the morning show.
She also pulled out of the Mud press junket in New York on Monday.
Reps for Witherspoon have not yet responded to THR’s requests for comment.
News broke the actress had been arrested in Atlanta over the weekend. Witherspoon was taken into custody Friday morning for disorderly conduct after police stopped her husband, CAA agent Jim Toth, on suspicion of DUI. Toth, who was driving erratically and whose blood alcohol level was reported to be .139, was charged with DUI and not staying in the lane.
According to TMZ, Witherspoon also was taken into custody after allegedly becoming upset and getting out of the car twice. She reportedly said, “Do you know my name?” and when the police officer said no, she answered: “You’re about to find out who I am. … You are going to be on national news.”
On Sunday, mugshots of Witherspoon and Toth were released online, after which Witherspoon issued a statement in which she said she “had one too many drinks” the night of her arrest and was “deeply embarrassed.”
The couple, who married in March 2011 and welcomed a son in September, were released from jail shortly after the arrests.

On Sunday, Witherspoon walked the red carpet at the premiere of Mud at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, where she posed for cameras but didn’t stop to answer questions.
Mud, which also stars Matthew McConaughey, Sarah Paulson, Michael Shannon, Sam Shepard and Tye Sheridan, centers on two teenage boys who try to help a fugitive evade bounty hunters and reunite with his true love. It’s set to open Friday.
