NEW YORK — Fans of The Rascals who didn’t make it to New York to catch the reassembled 1960s hitmakers on Broadway in Once Upon a Dream will have additional opportunities when the show embarks on a national tour.
Directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman, with music by Felix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, the show continues its well-received limited engagement at Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre through Sunday.

Original band members Cavaliere, Brigati, Dino Danelli and Gene Cornish reunited for the show, playing together for the first time since 1970. They perform such era-defining ’60s evergreens as “Good Lovin’,” “Lonely Too Long,” “How Can I Be Sure” and “Groovin’,” while recapping their history through archival footage, narration and dramatized film segments.
After wrapping the three-week Broadway run, The Rascals show will kick off its tour playing three nights at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., from May 24-27.
Other dates follow in Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey, with additional stops to be announced.
