Steven C. Miller is readying a new thriller titled Submerged.
Miller, who directed the thriller Aggression Scale as well as a remake of slasher pic Silent Night, is beginning the casting process for the feature, which is being produced by Brad Kaplan and Tiffany Kuzon of Evolution Entertainment.
The script, by Scott Milam, sees a limo ride home from a party turning into a terrifying ordeal for a group of college kids. A young woman and her friends have been targeted by a ring of vengeful kidnappers and must do everything they can to survive after their limo is forced off the road and plunged into a canal.
The project was previously known as The Space Between.
Cassian Elwes and Robert Odgen Barnum are exec producing as are Cissy Guidry and Lainie Guidry
An October start in Los Angeles is being eyed.
Miller also directed the horror movie Under the Bed, which was released earlier this year. He is repped by UTA, Aperture Entertainment and Alexander Nau.
MIlam is repped by Paradigm and Evolution and Hansen Jacobson.
