Grant of the Week: Prince of Asturias Award for Social Sciences

The Prince of Asturias Award for Social Sciences is bestowed upon a person, group of people, or institution whose work or research in the fields of anthropology, law, economics, geography, history, psychology, sociology, or other social sciences constitutes a significant contribution to the progress of these sciences to the benefit of mankind. Award winners receive 50,000 euros, and a number of other items. Nominations are due by 2:00 pm, March 14, 2008.
