Three days before One Direction‘s debut 3D feature film, This Is Us, hits theaters on Aug. 30, the best-selling boy band will release a new book that also captures its ascent to stardom. One Direction: Where We Are will be released through HarperCollins on Aug. 27, it was announced on Wednesday, May 22.
“This is the only official book from 1D charting their journey over the last year and a half — from the places they’ve visited and fans they’ve met, to their thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams, highs and lows,” reads the official book description. Where We Are — which is subtitled “Our Band, Our Story: 100% Official” — is 240 pages long and will retail for $21.99.

If the title Where We Are looks familiar, that’s because it’s also the name of One Direction’s 2014 stadium tour, the first dates of which were revealed last week. The group’s 2013 North American tour, which kicks off on June 13, will include a massive partnership with Nabisco, with brands like Chips Ahoy, Oreo, Trident and Ritz all sponsoring the live run.
Although This Is Us will not have a proper soundtrack, the band is expected to release a new album later this year or in early 2014 at the latest. Both of the group’s first two albums, Up All Night and Take Me Home, topped the Billboard 200 chart in 2012.
