Private donors have contributed to the reward for the arrest and conviction of whomever set a dog on fire Wednesday in the Arden-Arcade area.

The reward now stands at $13,500.

Investigators say someone set a dog on fire inside a crate in front of the Oaks Plains Masonic Lodge on Becerra Way, near Marconi Avenue. The dog was burned alive.
