The Ida B. Wells Graduate Student Fellowship is a $1,000 award to an A.B.D. woman graduate student working on a historical dissertation, not necessarily in a history department. Applicants working on issues of race are particularly welcome. See the fellowship web page for more information and instructions on how to apply. The deadline for applications is September 15, 2010.
