SACRAMENTO-

A flash mob packed Tower Cafe in Sacramento Saturday morning. Their goal: Give Hop-Hop a good name.

The organization, Zero Forbidden Goals, along with the Element Brass Band took to the outside of the cafe.

Organizers of the event say the flash mob – inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s song “i”- aims to give hip-hop a better name.

The group says most people associate hip-hop with the negative themes of sex and drugs, and hope events like this will reduce the stigma the genre faces.
