Doc McStuffins is headed to Hulu.
The streamer has inked an exclusive SVOD deal with Disney-ABC Television Group for all episodes of the Disney Junior series beginning this spring. Subsequent seasons will be made available to Hulu Plus subscribers after the last episode of each season airs.
The multi-year deal, which marks the first time Disney Junior content is coming to Hulu Plus, also gives Hulu the exclusive SVOD rights to Bunnytown. In addition, all episodes of Handy Manny will also stream on Hulu Plus.
All titles will be made available to stream commercial-free under the Kids banner on Hulu. The streamer introduced its first original children’s programming last year with the April launch of Doozers, a preschool series from The Jim Henson Co.
“We aspire to bring the best content to our viewers of all ages,” said Hulu content chief Craig Erwich. “Doc McStuffins is one of the best shows for young children, and it hails from one of the top brands in children’s programming. We are thrilled to offer the series, as well as the Disney Junior brand, to our Hulu subscribers.”
