CBS saw a handsome boost from NFL overrun, with 44 minutes of gameplay delaying the primetime lineup on the East Coast. Scores for 60 Minutes, The Amazing Race, The Good Wife and The Mentalist will be available later. The network is currently averaging a 3.8 rating with adults 18-49 and 15.2 million viewers.
The Simpsons held even on Fox, averaging a 2.9 rating with adults 18-49 and topping all of the night’s entertainment programming. Bob’s Burgers (1.9 adults) dropped three-tenths of a point from its premiere, while Family Guy (2.5 adults) was only off by a tenth. American Dad (2.1 adults) held even, giving Fox an average 2.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers.
Once Upon a Time (2.5 adults) was steady in its second episode of the season, off only a tenth of a point. Revenge (1.9 adults) did not fare as well, dropping four-tenths of a point from its premiere. Betrayal (1.1 adults) was also off four tenths of a point, getting disconcertingly low in its second week. ABC averaged a 1.5 adults rating and 2.3 million viewers.
