Open Road Films has promoted Elliott Kleinberg to COO and renewed CFO’s Steven Andriuzzo’s contract, the company announced on Monday.
Kleinberg, who joined Open Road in 2011 when it was founded, previously held the title of general counsel and executive vp operations and business affairs.
“Elliott and Steven are invaluable to every aspect of our business at Open Road Films,” said Open Road Films CEO Tom Ortenberg. “Their razor-sharp sensibilities have helped the company grow and thrive, and I look forward to our next chapter working together, along with the entire Open Road team.”
Before joining Open Road, Kleinberg served as COO of United Artists, where he was responsible for operations, finance, business and legal affairs, human resources and investor relations. Prior to that, he was a partner at the law firm of Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy Edel & Klein.
Andriuzzo also joined Open Road Films at its inception. He previously worked as senior vp planning and finance for Paramount’s domestic home entertainment division. Before joining Paramount, Andriuzzo spent several years with DreamWorks LLC, where he served as head of corporate finance and motion picture group controller. He also played a key financial role in the IPO of DreamWorks Animation.
Open Road’s upcoming films include Justin Bieber’s Believe; 3D animated family film The Nut Job; A Haunted House 2; Sabotage, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger; and Chef, written and directed by, and starring, Jon Favreau.
