The hunt is back on.
The Facebook page for Predators, Robert Rodriguez‘ 2010 reboot for the 20th Century Fox’s alien hunter franchise offered a mysterious new image this weekend suggesting that something interesting related to the franchise may be announced at Comic-Con this week.
Over a thermal image of a section of San Diego, the image reads “There’s something out there waiting for us, and it ain’t no man… We’re all gonna die.” That line, of course, is a quote from the original 1987 Predator movie, spoken by Sonny Landham‘s Billy, and it’s accompanied on the image by the hashtag #HuntthePredator.

It’s worth noting that 20th Century Fox’s has promised “a huge surprise” for its San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, which is still showing up as “TBA” in terms of details on the official Comic-Con schedule.
Should we be expecting confirmation of the teased Predator remake, news of a new movie or something else altogether? Only one thing is for sure: There’s less than a week until we’ll find out.
