“Sin City 2 is a prestigious project for us since it’s the first time that any Indian company has become an exclusive VFX partner for a Hollywood tentpole project of this scale and pedigree,” said PFW chief creative director and co-founder Merzin Tavaria. “With this win, we are expanding our team at the Mumbai facility with over 450 employees. These professionals will have the opportunity to travel and work alongside and under the direct supervision of accomplished international VFX talent across our Vancouver and Mumbai facilities.”
Following completion of Sin City 2, the newly recruited team will have the opportunity to work on other Hollywood and Bollywood projects, the company said.
PFW’s recent credits include White House Down, The Great Gatsby, Total Recall, Mirror Mirror, Men In Black 3, Avatar and X-Men.
