Argo actor Victor Garber and The Killing‘s Michelle Forbes are set to star in the Hallmark Channel original movie The Hunters, which is scheduled to premiere October 25.
Based on Mirror, Mirror, a comic book by Joshua Williamson, the film will be a part of Walden Family Theater, a new series of family movies to air on Friday nights.
The film, which is shooting in Vancouver and Thailand, revolves around the magical mirror from Snow White. It follows the Flynn brothers — Paxton (Robbie Amell) and Tripp (Keenan Tracey) — as they plunge into a journey to find their parents Carter and Jordyn Flynn (Dan Payne, Forbes).

Little do the brothers know, their parents are hunters who protect powerful fairy tale artifacts that are located in museums and other highly protected spots around the globe.
With the help of the Flynn’s assistant Dylan (Alexa Vega), the brothers soon realize their parents’ true profession and their attempt to protect the magic mirror, which holds the ability to grant any wish.
When the group discovers that their family friend Mason (Garber) has plans of his own to attain the enchanted mirror, the brothers must find their parents before the mirror falls into the wrong hands.
The Hunters is produced by Eh-Okay Entertainment and is presented by Walden Media, ARC Entertainment and Kickstart Productions, in association with Walmart and Procter & Gamble.
The creative team includes executive producer Jason Netter, producer Heather Puttock, writers Matthew Huffman and Jeffrey Schechter and director Nisha Ganatra.
