The cast of Masters of Sex lined up for a group shot at the Thursday premiere of their Showtime series in New York City.
(L-R): Nicholas D'Agosto, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Michael Sheen, Lizzy Caplan and Teddy Sears.
Lizzy Caplan stars as Virginia Johnson, the pioneering female sexologist, in the series.
"I think I was always comfortable talking about sex and my own sexuality, which is why I played this role," Caplan told THR. "I've been talking about sex and sexuality now in an intellectual way for two years. I've learned how to talk about it a bit more. I have to say promoting this show has been more fun than anything I've done before."
Michael Sheen stars as gynecologist William H. Masters, who, alongside Lizzy Caplan's Virginia Johnson, begins to study human sexuality.
"His work did so much for gender politics and feminism in certain ways," Sheen said of the real-life Masters. "He, as a man, was a product of his time just as much as anyone else, but more so. He was such an alpha male and as misogynst as anyone else. Although he seemed to hate everyone, not just women. He's a very interesting contradiction as a man."
Caitlin Fitzgerald plays Libby Masters, the wife of Michael Sheen's character, who is distraught over her apparent inability to conceive a child.
TV personality Carrie Keagan stepped out for the New York soiree.
Former All My Children actor Finn Wittrock posed for the shutterbugs on the carpet. He will next be seen on the big screen in Winter's Tale opposite Will Smith, Jennifer Connelly and Russell Crowe.
Of his role on Sex, Wittrock told THR: "I play Dale, I have a relationship with someone at the hospital who is a big part of the show and I do some things that are rather illicit and I do them for money. I think that's all I'm allowed to say."
Model Elettra Wiedemann strutted down the red carpet on Thursday evening.
Helene York recurs as Jane Martin on the Showtime series.
The Good Wife actress Jess Weixler stepped out in a Sandro LBD for the event.
Actress Mischa Barton kept warm in a bronze dress and white sweater at the premiere.
The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby actress Nina Arianda brought a pop of color to the red carpet on Thursday night.
