Warning: Spoilers ahead for Man of Steel.
Director Zack Snyder revealed a few details about his upcoming Man of Steel sequel during a Yahoo! live event promoting the Blu-ray release of his summer blockbuster.
While the director spent plenty of time dissecting Man of Steel, he also delved into the 2015 follow-up, which will feature Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.

Snyder teased that the pair will likely come to blows at some point during the film.
“The fun of the idea is to be able to play with that relationship,” Snyder said. “Whether they fight and become friends, or whether they’re friends and they fight.… Of course, some physical conflicts [will be involved].”
While Superman nemesis Lex Luthor is not officially confirmed to be in the film, Snyder teased his inclusion, joking: “Lex loves calling him an alien.”
The director also addressed one of the more controversial moments of Man of Steel, which saw Superman kill General Zod (Michael Shannon). He said the film may explore the effects that the decision to kill had on Superman.

The event closed with Snyder revealing artwork of Superman and Batman that is being auctioned for charity. The art, from Dave Correia, Alex Pardee, and Jonathan Wayshak, is available to bid on here.
Snyder was joined by host Kevin Smith and Man of Steel stars Amy Adams and Cavill.
Warner Bros.’ Man of Steel sequel hits theaters July 17, 2015.
