Arizona is making a major change to clean up her image after Callie outed her affair on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
During Thursday’s episode, titled “Everybody’s Crying Mercy,” Owen (Kevin McKidd) summons Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) to survey the literal hole in Grey Sloan Memorial that the deadly superstorm left behind.
While Arizona is sporting a dress and new haircut, Cristina sees right through her attempt to put on a happy face in the midst of her crumbling marriage.

Meanwhile, the two board members get the third degree from Owen, who encourages the hospital’s new owners to create a plan that will help pay for the storm damage rather than waiting for an already taxed insurance company to come around.
After hearing Arizona’s excuses — everyone’s busy with patients, Meredith and Derek are on leave and Webber is still recovering from his near-death experience — Owen kicks the doc while she’s down with a dig implying that she and Callie can’t even be in the same room together.
Following his heated exchange with Arizona, Cristina attempts to comfort her ex-husband but has heartbreaking second thoughts.
“We can’t be alone together,” she tells him, before making an awkward exit.
