The news Tuesday that New York City mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner continued sexting after he resigned from Congress when it was revealed that he’d sent lewd photos and messages to various women sent New Yorkers into a frenzy.
But the interest in the latest Weiner scandal has spread all the way to Hollywood, with many high-profile actors, writers and comedians continuing to poke fun at the repeat offender, several of whom are harping on his humorous alias “Carlos Danger.”
Even Rupert Murdoch weighed in, suggesting that Weiner “should help city by just fading away.” Curiously, while both The New York Times and Daily News have urged Weiner to drop out of the mayoral race, Murdoch’s New York Post hasn’t taken such a stance — yet.
Here are some of the best tweets about the latest chapter in the Weiner saga:

If you unscramble the letters in “Carlos Danger” you get “Smallish Dick.” Not really, but that would be pretty awesome.
