ROSEVILLE-

Roseville Police Officers and Placer County Sheriff’s deputies dressed in tactical gear made entry into corporate office off of Douglas Boulevard early Thursday morning.

Officials would tell the media later in the morning that a man was spotted inside the building around 1:30 a.m. by a security guard. The guard told dispatch that the man had a gun but at no point threatened him with it.

Before they could make entry police first had to obtain key cards from the building operators.

At around 5:45 a.m. they moved in and about 45 minutes later called the search off believing the homeless man was no longer inside.

It was not known how the man entered the building in the first place.
