SACRAMENTO—

Anything worth doing, is worth doing again, right?

That was the thought at Sleep Train Arena as the Kings took on the Pistons and history – trying to break the Guinness world record for loudest indoor crowd roar.

The first attempt was logged at 124 decibels, besting a 106 reading set in Milwaukee by Bucks fans.

But, according to Guinness adjudicator Phillip Roberston, some electronic noise interfered with the measurement, so that peak level is disqualified.

Still, at least 119 decibels will count from that first attempt – new record.

Then, the second attempt 122 reading rocked that out of the record books.

Roberston says such a number, set by such an energetic crowd, is very impressive.
