Common is in negotiations to go mano-a-mano with Liam Neeson and Joel Kinnaman in Warner Bros.’ action movie Run All Night.
Jaume Collet-Serra is directing the movie, which centers on an aging hitman (Neeson) who is forced to take on his brutal former boss (Ed Harris) to protect his estranged son (Kinnaman) and his family.

Common will play Harris’ most trusted killer, a cool and calculated man who lets nothing get in his way.
Roy Lee is producing the pic with Brooklyn Weaver. John Middleton is exec producing. Brad Inglesby wrote the script.

The rapper-turned-actor, who counts Wanted and Terminator Salvation among his credits, was last seen in Summit’s surprise summer hit, Now You See Me, the magician heist movie directed by Louis Leterrier. He is also a key player on AMC’s Western drama Hell on Wheels.
