DAVIS-

It’s a simple solution to any college student’s studying woes – man’s best friend.

Therapy dogs from the Sacramento and Bay Area were out to offer their expertise on helping people relax Friday morning outside the Memorial Union on the UC Davis campus.

“This is so awesome, exactly what I needed.” sophomore Lauren Garcia said. “I was really stressed with midterms and finals coming up soon.”

The dogs come on campus with their handlers a few times each year during midterms, and have been doing so for four years.

Well before the event Friday morning, 1,700 students said they would attend the event on Facebook.

The “Therapy Fluffies” were on campus from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
