Elk Grove Teen Arrested on Suspicion of Daytime Burglary

Elk Grove Police were able to arrest a 15-year old juvenile yesterday afternoon after an investigation into a residential burglary.

According to police reports, officers responded to a burglary reported yesterday on the 9400 block of Crowell Drive. Witnesses provided police with information and descriptions of the suspects seen leaving the residence and officers were able to identify one of the suspects.

The 15-year old boy was contacted at his residence regarding the burglary and a consent search led to the discovery of property taken in the burglary. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall.
