Reverend Hayley Young contracted HIV through an attack

Two years ago, Reverend Hayley Young, 28, contracted HIV through a non-sexual attack.

She told only a few of her closest family and friends about her diagnosis.

However, after losing her hair and an obvious decline in her health, rumours began to circulate, and she felt it was time to reveal what had happened.

As a vicar, she says she is always expected to have the answers for her congregation, but found it difficult being the one searching for answers.
