ABC’s freshman comedy Manhattan Love Story is adding to its cast.
William & Kate‘s Nico Evers-Swindell has booked a recurring role on the comedy from Two and a Half Men‘s Jeff Lowell, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The romantic comedy starring Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman exposes the internal monologues of a young couple embarking on a new relationship.
Evers-Swindell will recur as Tucker, an attractive senior editor at a New York publishing firm. He’s gay, but not stereotypically flamboyant. He’s well-educated and well-spoken and becomes Tipton’s friend at work, serving as a brutally honest mentor to guide her through her professional and social problems.
The New Zealand actor’s other credits include Parkland and guest roles on CSI, NCIS and Drop Dead Diva. He’s best known for playing Prince William in Lifetime’s biopic William & Kate. He’s repped by Gersh and Authentic Talent.
Manhattan Love Story debuts Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 8:30 p.m. on ABC. Watch the trailer below.
