Officers have announced a new person of interest wanted for questioning about his connection to three bank robbers who hit the Bank of the West in Stockton, took three hostages, and led officers on a chase that ended with a deadly shootout.

Martinez. Renteria and Martinez were killed in a shootout with Stockton Police following a police chase.

During an update on the investigation Monday morning, officers said Ruvalcaba’s may have driven Ramos, Renteria and Martinez to the bank.

Stockton Police also announced they arrested a 16-year-old who allegedly moved the car used to drop off the suspects at the Bank of the West. Officers say he may have moved the car a few days after the incident, and is facing charges of being an accessory after the fact.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced a $5,000 reward for information about a weapon recovered from the scene.

There is already a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

They said there are no serial numbers on this weapon, which belonged to the suspects, and they are hoping someone in the community recognizes it or knows something about it.

On July 16, Ramos, Renteria and Martinez reportedly walked into the Bank of the West location along Thornton Road in Stockton. When officers arrived to the robbery in progress, the three men took three women hostage and left in a bank employee’s car.

During the police chase that followed, two of the women were released from the suspects’ car. The third hostage, Misty Holt-Singh, was found dead inside the suspects’ car after a shootout between the men and police. It was later determined Holt-Singh died from an officers’ bullet, she was hit ten times by gunfire. Investigators believe she may have been used as a shield during the chase.

Renteria and Martinez were also killed. Ramos was taken into custody at the scene, he appeared in court Monday morning.
