Radio Nova 100 are giving out free Maxol petrol vouchers to some lucky listeners for what they’re calling “April Fuels Day”.
Breakfast presenter Marty Miller tweeted this morning to announce the giveaway – and also mentioned the ever-increasing prize money for their guess-the-sound competition, the “Nova Noise”, as well as a concert ticket giveaway.

The Dublin-based rock station have teamed up with Maxol to give away one €50 fuel voucher every hour today in phone and text competitions, and listeners are showing them how much they really need it – with many tweeting pictures of their car’s fuel meter showing that they’re almost “running on empty”.

Also, the station’s “Rattle N’ Hummer” street team are at the Maxol/Mace petrol station in Templeogue, Dublin until 5pm today, helping motorists out by attending the pumps and giving them 10c per litre off their fuel. They’re also giving out free lunches and free car washes to some motorists this morning.
