Gutter cleaners were incredibly busy Wednesday, a day before the region’s biggest storm in six years was expected to hit.

“My phone has not stopped ringing,” John Shanahan, owner of Lighthouse Window Cleaning in Rocklin, told FOX40. “People are calling, wanting their gutters cleaned.”

But Shanahan says a little work the night before a storm can go a long way – the key is keeping the gutter’s down spout clear of debris.
