Trinidad and Tobago’s Akeem Humphrey wasn’t fooling anyone

For those of you who thought Didier Drogba had the lowest pain threshold in football, you may want to reconsider after watching the phenomenal level of agony Trinidad and Tobago’s Akeem Humphrey clearly experienced – having elbowed his opponent.

Trinidad’s Under-20 side were playing their counterparts from Panama in the Concacaf U20 Championship at the weekend when Humphrey suffered possibly the worst injury in the history of football – or so his actions would have onlookers believe.

Having had an opponent brutally headbutt his flailing elbow, the pain clearly ricocheted through Humphrey’s body, causing him immense agony…in his face!

Shockingly, despite the clearly awful injury, the youngster was sent off by the referee as Panama went on to claim a 1-0 victory.
