Filmmaker Eoin Duffy's award-winning short film 'The Missing Scarf', narrated by none other than Star Trek legend George Takei, is an absolute gem – and it's available online for free.
The six-minute film, which has been clocking up awards at international film festivals since 2013, might seem like an animated children's picture book, but there's more to it than meets the eye.
And now that it's been uploaded online by the creator, you can finally enjoy its wicked sense of humour - free.
Wait for Frederick, the bear with a nihilistic existential crisis, at 2:30, and the twist at the end. Trust me.
Duffy, who is from Tullow but now lives in Canada, made the film with the Irish Film Board, RTÉ, and The Arts Council. The animated short even got a nod at last year's Oscars, when it made it to the voting round's shortlist.
Duffy has some other excellent work available on his Vimeo profile, some of which is touching and sombre (we particularly recommend 'On Departure') and others that are pure comedy, like 'Valentine's Day'.
