Bethenny Frankel is going back to the show that made her famous.
Ending weeks of speculation, Bravo on Monday confirmed that the reality star turned talk-show host will be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for the show’s seventh season. She joins returning castmembers Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.

Frankel appeared in the first three seasons of the show before leaving in 2010 to star in two spinoffs, Bethenny Getting Married? and Bethenny Ever After, which chronicled her relationship with Jason Hoppy, with whom she has been embroiled in contentious divorce proceedings.
Frankel went on to launch her own short-lived talk show. She also launched Skinnygirl Cocktails in 2011, which has expanded to include food, wellness and lifestyle products; she later sold the company for an estimated $100 million. Frankel also is a best-selling author.
“I’m genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to The Real Housewives of New York City,” said Frankel. “Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us.”

“Bethenny is one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise, and I couldn’t be more excited she is coming home to Bravo!” said Andy Cohen, host and executive producer of Watch What Happens Live and executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise.
The Real Housewives of New York City is produced by Shed Media U.S., with Pam Healey, Lisa Shannon and Andrew Hoegl serving as executive producers.
