NBC has found Monica Potter‘s new onscreen leading men — and three of them hail from the Bill Lawrence family.
Eddie Cibrian, Donald Faison, Josh Hopkins and Rory Scovel have been tapped to star in the network’s semi-autobiographical comedy starring the Parenthood favorite, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The untitled comedy centers on Bridget (Potter), who juggles her busy family life as well as her three ex-husbands, which proves to be difficult when she starts dating again.
Cibrian (Third Watch, The Best Man Holiday) will star as Jason, Bridget’s first ex-husband, who is a slick professional gambler. He remains slightly territorial when it comes to Bridget, even after their divorce. They share a daughter, Jessica.
Scrubs and The Exes alum Faison will play Kevin, Bridget’s second ex-husband. Very earnest and a hugger, Kevin is positive and upbeat at all times — and a staunch protector of the environment who is also “accidentally” extremely wealthy. He and Bridget share a son, Ty.

Ground Floor alum Scovel is Robert, Bridget’s third ex-husband. A pompous writer and college professor, Robert went to Harvard and can’t wait to let everyone know it … even though he now lives with his mother. He and Bridget have a son together, Dylan.
Cougar Town alum Hopkins will portray Tom Reynolds, a veterinarian in the midst of a mutual attraction with Bridget, who happens to be an animal lover who needs to save every animal she comes across and has been bringing her rescues to Dr. Tom for years.
It’s worth noting that Faison, Hopkins and Scovel have all starred in comedies from showrunner Lawrence (Scrubs, Cougar Town, Ground Floor).
Friends alum Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer will pen the script and executive produce the multicamera comedy for Warner Bros. Television. A Very Good Production’s Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman will also exec produce. Potter will produce the comedy as well, which marks her follow-up to NBC’s beloved Parenthood.
For Cibrian, who previously starred in NBC’s short-lived The Playboy Club, the Potter comedy marks his return to scripted following the VH1 docuseries LeAnn & Eddie, which was canceled after one season. He’s repped by Gersh and Media Four.

Hopkins — who, like Potter did with Parenthood, will say farewell to his long-running ABC-turned-TBS comedy Cougar Town this season — counts Get On Up among his credits. He’s repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
For Faison, who is in production on the fourth season of The Exes — which saw its order doubled to 24 episodes — the role is in first position to the TV Land comedy. If the Potter comedy goes to series, Faison would likely depart The Exes while the series is still in consideration for a fifth season at the Viacom-owned cable network that this week saw its longtime president exit. Faison is repped by APA, Intellectual Artists Management and Fuller Downs.
Scovel, who like Ground Floor co-star Skylar Astin, found a follow-up role days after TBS canceled the Lawrence comedy, most recently filmed indie feature Dean. He’s repped by CAA, Mosaic and attorney Isaac Dunham.
