The team use nearly 1,300 of the coloured cube puzzles, each solved "a whole bunch of times" to create this charming animation about a robot's journey through outer space.
Launching in his rocket mid-animation, the robot gets into some trouble in an asteroid field and comes crashing down to the surface.
All is not lost though, for it's there his eyes meet with the prettiest darn robot this side of the Milky Way.
The fact she has jetpacks built in to her feet is a bonus.
Who needs to find new worlds when you can find love, eh?
The story is so enjoyable, it's easy to forget the amount of work that must have gone in to constantly solving and re-solving all those Rubik's Cubes .
