Nashville is taking fans behind the music — again.
Castmembers from the ABC series will perform songs from the show, talk about the stories behind those compositions and give viewers an intimate look at their individual songwriting process, talking about their own work as musical artists on Nashville: On the Record, a one-hour special that will air this spring on ABC.

In addition, country superstar Reba McEntire will perform her single, “Going Out Like That.” Nashville castmembers set to participate in the special include Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Will Chase, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Maisy and Lennon Stella and Aubrey Peeples.
Many of Nashville‘s castmembers are musicians in their own right and perform outside of the series, including on tour last year.
The special, a follow-up to last year’s On the Record, will be taped on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Grand Ole Opry House, with tickets going on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. central time. On the Record is based on ABC’s web series of the same name, available on the network’s online music lounge, which takes viewers behind the music of Nashville.
